LarryEA Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Very nice of you Hans. I've never had cooked bananas. I've had boiled peanuts. I usually have bananas in my oatmeal. I once heard to catch a monkey, you strap a jar to the ground and put a banana in it. A monkey will reach in, grab the banana, the opening is too small for the monkey to get his hand out while holding the banana. The monkey will not let go of the banana. Since I like bananas and am not interested in catching a monkey, I may never know if this is true. Larry Quote
browders Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Thanks for the coffee. I just got back from my next door neighbors house. They winter in California, and were wondering why their power bill suddenly shot up so high when no one was in the house. When I got there I found a basement full of water. Apparently they forgot to shut the power off to the pump after they drained the system. Gonna be a real mess to clean up. I'll be spending some quality time with the physical therapist today trying to correct this herniated disk I have in my neck. Kinda sucks growing old. But I'm not complaining cuz it beats the alternative. Have a good day all. Jim Quote
