I know I've only been a part of SSV for a short time but I wanted to share a couple thoughts. I enjoy reading the threads and I'm inspired and motivated to do better on my work by the pictures of the many projects all of you wonderful scrollers do.

For my part I'd get more out of the threads if there was a bit more detail. I'd like posts to include:

a) a ruler or pencil or something so I could have a better sense of scale;

b) it would be great if folks mentioned where the pattern came from, both to give credit where due and to assist those who may want to check out similar patterns by a specific designer;

c) what wood or sheet goods where used

d) any finishing detail

Just my 2 cents on this chilly February morning. Thanks for reading.

That remindes me of the ' Rolling Stones ' !!

I enjoy additional information, I don't need it to throughly enjoy the craftsmanship

of the fine art displayed daily here.That motivates and inspires me also.

Personally, I would like everyone to sign their posts with the name to which

they want to be addressed.
