heppnerguy Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Our little Eastern Oregon town of Heppner was founded by Irish people. So the neareest weekend to St Patrick's Day, we have a parade, street sales and many activities that attract people from quite a ways away. I found a pattern that I thought would be perfect for this event. Since we usually have quite a few family members and friends come to our house for this and also because my wife, Sharon, enjoyes decorating for every holiday, I choose to make a decoration that will come out once a year and surprise me because I usually forget about the decorations as soon as they are put away.
