Rob Roy Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 Hey Guys and Gals, whose turn is it to make the coffee and tea today ??. My tongue's hanging out. I even got some more shortbread and a load of oat cakes and cheese for those who like it. A bit late but we could have a light lunch. The cheese was not cut on Don's board it's too nice to use. . Hav a good day all. Rob Roy. keefie and amazingkevin 2 Quote

I've got to admit that the long gone Coffee Cream was always a favourite...but now (watching the waistline) I can go 1 or 2 choc hob nobs or maybe a little shortbread (you listening Rob?) Quote

Multifasited Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Yep...know where you're coming from - Grandmas fresh bread has yet to be created to the true recipe. Unfortunately ,memories and reality are cousins NOT twins ,I can even remember ,smells ,texture & feel of Home made bread with hand churned butter nothing compared to the taste ,but they are still there ,Cinnamon rolls hot out of the oven ,I got to quit , It will ruin my modern day lunch ! But ALAS I have never been able to duplicate any of the fond memories and doubt I ever will ! amazingkevin 1 Quote
