Hope you are feeling better! You need to take good care of yourself. We need to keep you around the village for a good long time. The phantom scroller needs someone to pick on. Without you he might start picking on me. ;)  ;)

Well Danny, I feel a lot better than I did last Thursday. What you might call a life changing event, and some. Time to slow down I think. No need to worry about Roly, he's already started on Keith  . Thank you again for your good wishes Danny.

Glad yer better. AFIB is no fun, before i had my ablation done in 2010 I went out of rythme at least every 10 days. Since then not once thank the Lord.

sully

Thank you Ron,for your good wishes. I totally agree with you regarding AFIB, it certainly is no fun, scary to say the least. The medicine cabinet is now beginning to look like a drug store cupboard. I'll now have to start obeying the rules and do as I'm told, and be thankful I'm still here. Thank you again for your good wishes.

Rob Roy there is no reason to apologize for anything, we'll just thank God you are still alive to tell us about it.

Hi Gary, thank you for your good wishes. It's when things like this happen you appreciate life is very precious. So I'll treat it with a bit more respect now. I'd like to see my two Grandsons grow up. Thanks again Gary.

Good day Roy

No apologies required. Hopefully your resting and taking it easy for awhile. Stay in close touch with your check ups with your doctor sooner than you need to. All the best.

Thank you Ron, there will be no more missing doctor's appointments I can assure you. Too close for comfort this time. I'll be  taking things a lot easier from now on. No more get out my way, I'll do it myself, someone else can do it from now on. Thanks again Ron.

Thank you for your good wishes Nick. I feel a lot better than I did last Thursday. First trip ever in an ambulance, all those flashing lights, it was like a journey in a very fast Christmas tree. Hopefully it will be the LAST. All is under control at the moment. Thank you once again Nick.:cool: .

That's no problem at all. Just slow down a little and listen to the docs. Just wondered how far you were from the nearest A&E? I know some places up there are a quite remote. My Father is a driver on the Strathspey Steam Railway, and he's fairly far from the nearest town (Inverness I think).

Kindest Regards,

Nick.

Take it easy and do what t he Dr. says. I had an aortic valve replacement 3 years ago and had the a-fib also. I take meds to keep my blood pressure stable and doing great. Lost a lot of weight since then too and it makes a lot of difference. Take care and keep us posted as to how you are doing... Fay

Thank you Fay, I will certainly be doing as the cardiologist tells me this time. It got too close for comfort. Got to realise I'm not bullet proof. I'm glad to hear that everything has worked out well for you. All I need to do now is remember what medications to take and when, but the BOSS will sort that out. Thanks again Fay.

Roy take care , take it 1 day at a time ,,,

Hi Buzz, I shall be taking GREAT care from now on. I will be enjoying each day as it comes, as one never knows what's around the next corner, and when you have two small grandsons who say they don't want Granddad to go away, puts a whole new slant on things. Thanks again Buzz.

Rest up and take care of yourself and you'll be behind the saw in no time.   ;)

Hello, Travis, much as I hate resting up, I will have to give in this time, but I will be back at the saw as soon as is sensible. The cardiologist told me not to do anything stupid, but at my age I only do stupid things.    . Thank you for the good wishes Travis and keep washing the bottles.

Don't worry about us take care of your health.

Thank you Dan. I think the time has come to realise I'm 68 yrs and not 28 yrs   and take things easy. No more scrambling on the shop roof to fix leaks any more, someone else can do that. Thanks again Dan.

HOPE IT WAS'NT MY PANCAKES,what most all medical conditions are is the body telling you it's had enough of the way you've been treating it.You stay right here, your needed in the village !Get well soon sir ! :)

Hello Kevin, rest easy, my problem had nothing to do with your PANCAKES LOL. It could be compared to an automobile. If you don't get it serviced it don't work and I found out the hard way, I needed a bit more than an oil change. The fuel lines are a bit clogged up and the damned pump is in need of repair. After taking some of the awful drugs they gave me in hospital I think the muffler has gone as well   . Never mind it can all be repaired. As they say,  prevention is better than cure. Too late for that now. Thank you again for your good wishes Kevin.

Glad to know you are ok Rob (It was my fault as I told Marg to chase you because you didn't have the energy to chase her   ) Take things easy and do as the doctor and Marg says.

I still think it was all caused by the stress of having to throw out all that wood that got damaged !!!!   Take care my friend.

Thank you very much Doug. I can assure you I'll be in the slow lane from now on. I'll get there, but it will just take a little longer and it will be a bit safer. Thank you again for your good wishes..

Glad things worked out Rob.  I also have Afib and after Sully mentioned ablation, I asked my Dr. and was told that I was 10 yrs too late and it was only 70% effective and would even so have to stay on medication so I said no thanks.  Have found that instead of Warfarin, I take Xarelto and is surely easier and you don't watch what you eat and no blood tests.

Judging by those bruises on your stomach - you'll have to ask Marg (politely of course) to start hitting you somewhere else to give your stomach time to heal!!!! :o :o :o       (sorry Marg)

Now there's a dilemma Keith, where's she going to hit me.   .
