"Darn Virus!!!"

Hello everybody! Thanks to my daughter I've got my computer back, A very nasty Virus got on my computer and swiched off my anti-virus and took it over, It started turning things off, If it hadn't been for my daughter it would be in wheelibin gone forever  , It took my daughter two weeks to sort it out for me, I couldn't thank her enough  , Thankfully I had backed a lot of my stuff up on my external hard drive! See y'all later Bob

I just went through and backed up my pictures last week ,on both computers just in case they are about the only thing I would miss if failures occured .all of my  old 8 milimeter films disolved in the cans ,I did not get them transfered in time all the kids movies gone ,some things you just don't think about till too late!

Your back that's funny because I said your new computer probably crashed well at least you backed up, I can't stress that enough back up back up or loss it! There's a virus out there for everybody.

Great your back I was having withdraw symptoms on no Bobscroll Patterns anyway enough chat get on with them.

This is where I take the opportunity to brag up my mac book. 4 years old now and never had a virus. Of course the down side is that there are plenty of programs that it won't run. I guess life is all about compromise. Glad you're back Bob. You had people a little concerned.

With you all the way. I've used pc's for years and never been totally satisfied with Windows (particularly with the amount of virus's continuously written for it.) A few years ago I discovered Mac...and never went back. Worth every penny and more.

I'd just like to add, I bought my computer on the internet cheap, I'm happy with it But! one thing, There was no backup disc with it, So when it got it's big virus, It had to be restored, The big problem was it didn't have standard parts inside it as my daughter found out, So she had to find "Drivers" on the internet to make it run again, Thats why it took two weeks for her to fix it for me, I couldn't thank her enough   Bob 

P.S the Drivers and other things have been burn't to a disc, So next time there won't be any problem.

I have a mac which I use when it's raining I prefer a brolly though.
