Yep, the dog and I slept in at least until we both needed bathroom breaks.  Thx for the coffee.  The sun is shining but is supposed to change with nasty weather the rest of the week.  Had a friend come by yesterday who does electrical work to see if he could come up with a switch for my Delta drill press.  I really like it but the part is no longer available and he thinks he can come up with something that will work.

Hi Kevin, it's 8-30 pm here in Scotland, so maybe I could join you in a nice light supper, if you don't mind that is, maybe I could persuade you to partake of some shortbread too. :D  :D  :D .

Rob Roy.

PS, it is BRASS MONKEY weather here.!!!!!

Thanks for the coffee Kevin, I've spent the day in the workshop making 4" dia trinket boxes (I have another order for 50) and I'm about ready for a nice cup of coffee.

Good for you Keith, it will make a change from umpteen "beach Huts". You must have a big grin on your face      .

OK Keith, do a show and tell.

here you go Larry, sorry bout the picture quality.  The Celtic Knot insert in the lid is just resting there as it's only for sizing the recess, the Mine fits all those when I supply the boxes.post-2867-0-31535300-1395566468_thumb.jpg

Lucky you Keith, you don't have a LADY OF THE HOUSE to take over the cash flow        .

Hi Keith I assume these units are going to the Mining Museum?. If so I hope they have a good season and need to  order more. Marg 2 says if it wasn't so far away we would be there buying some. I'd like a lathe but absolutely no room in the shop and the finance director is a tight fisted old witch. The BEAST has just been mot'd and taxed so that's that idea out the window. I'll just keep harping on and she'll give in eventually. I know that works because I was an only child and I ALWAYS got what I wanted.   .

PS. We'll see what Roly has to say about that!!!!!!!!.
