Rob Roy Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) In England, they will take a tree, cut it down, remove the branches and the bark until they are left with a cylinder. Next, they will take the cylinder of wood, taking great care, and turn it on a lathe and cut away until they are left with a perfectly formed bat. The bat will be dried, cured and treated to strengthen it and then, when it is finally ready, they will use it to whack a leather ball around a field. Its called................. CRICKET. In SCOTLAND we just throw the whole b***dy TREE!!!!! IT'S called............. TOSSING the CABER. Edited March 27, 2014 by Rob Roy sullyscroller, Loskoppie, Phantom Scroller and 2 others 5 Quote

rjR Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 Those Germans are so tight they use the branches to crappy for anything else for mugs, then sell each of them for more than they paid for the whole tree! Being 100% I can tell the truth about them! At least the mixes have a chance of having a "Good Side of the family"; I do NOT! Wilson's Woodworking 1 Quote

Those Brits in my family tree were ornery SOB's. They sent them over to the new country to get them out of their hair and just look what happened. Quote
