Good Morning To All Of My Village Friends:

I thought I would drop in here, and first thank you for all of your many thoughts and prayers during my triple by pass surgery, back on Dec. 6th. Though I haven't yet met any of you face to face I count you to be some of the dearest friends in the world.

I had a minor set back last week, and my recovery is going much slower than I would like. It seems like I take three steps forward and two steps back. Still haven't gotten back into the shop although I surely can't wait there is so many patterns I wish to cut, and a few that I have to get cut for some nice folks.

Its good to hear from you Jerry. I'm sorry to hear that your recovery is not going as it should but please try not to let it get you too down because that may impede it even more. Keep your chin up and pop into the coffee shop regularly for a good laugh and to be with friends. We are all behind you 100% and you are still in our prayers and thoughts.

Hi Jerry , you've probably not heard of me. I'm Roy from Scotland. I'm very sorry to hear you're not recovering as you would like to be. Just carry on getting better, all be it slowly and I'm sure things will improve. Keep your chin up and be assured that here in Scotland, prayers are on the way across the big pond for your recovery. I had a heart scare a few weeks ago which is under control with warfarin and various other drugs and things are improving slowly for me, but I just take each day as it comes, let's pray you are up and about soon, tinkering in the shop.Take care Jerry we're all thinking of you.

Seems like i 'm in the same boat as you lately.I went to the hospital for one thing a they found two more life threatenings things that needed more attention than what i went in for .A couple more weeks when i can afford the medicine i should be a new man.i just though i was getting old.Keep the faith my friend and time heals all wounds.Your needed here as much as any body else even if it;s just moral support.Which is what i've been doing the past few years waiting to get back in the swing of things.Make your daily appearances here in the coffee shop.Load of jokes to tickle your funny bone and remember laughter is the best medicine! :)

3 steps forward and 2 back is not such a bad thing its still going forward, its just your body telling you to slow down and heal properly, your not healing right so you have to go back and heal the parts you skipped trying to rush through the process. Have no worries my friend You'll be back on your feet in no time and making sawdust. There is plenty of people in the village alone pulling and praying for you. Relax keep a good spirit and keep your chin up.

Good morning Jerry. At least your on the right road weather it makes you take a couple steps back before going forward again or not. You've gone through a major surgery so best you give your body plenty of time to heal properly because your return to good health is more important than making sawdust or anything else for that matter. Think of your family for they need you the most. Everything else will come in due time.

It's great to hear from you again Jerry. I know it's been a while, and I've wondered how you've been getting on. As the others have already said...just take it easy, and each day as it comes. I know how good it must feel to be be looking forward to be scrolling again. Take your time and enjoy it when you can. There's lots of people here, waiting on your progress.

Stay good & Kindest Regards,

Nick.

Jerry, your recovery might not be as quick as you expected, but at least it's going in the right direction.  You can't rush these things, your body is recovering at a rate that suits it, just take your time and let nature do the rest and you'll be back in your shop in no time.
