A vase from Carole Rothman's book on wooden bowls

I took a break away from making the ark and now am working on a vase from the book Wooden Bowls by Carole Rothman . It's an easy pattern and I have the base glue onto the bottom half and tomorrow will try to get the two halves glued up. Any way , this is dry fitted so you'll get the idea what it will look like when it is done.... Enjoy    Fay

That's going to look superb when it's finished Fay. Very nice work. Hope things are improving for your sister and your Mom.

I'm off to hospital today to get another check on the Warfarin. Should be OK.

No Mom is not doing too good and she may end up going to a nursing home. She can't get out of bed to go to the bathroom and such. Don't know why and she went to t he hospital the other night but they can't do any thing for her breathing problems. She has an enlarged heart and not much lung conpacity any more and Sis is going for an MRI today and she goes back to t he surgeon and the cancer clinic on the 20th. I have a Dr  apoinntment on the 20th also. Too much stress around here but there is the wood working that helps.   Sis and I can't lift Mom so she does need some nursing care and she won't even get out of bed for any thing any more.  Take care.. Sis has to be rescheduled for the MRI because the machine quit working and they had her prepped with the temp IV thing in her arm and the table they put you on would not connect to get her in the machine wouldn't work so a reschedule is in the works. Going ot lie down for awhile... Fay
