My husband used to make those horses many years ago, someone gave him some horse hair to finish them off. Ahhhhh memories. You did a great job, the new owners will love them. Marg

If the wood is pale I think a darker background helps but if the wood is dark a light background is fine. Just my opinion. Maybe a slightly darker blue or green???? Marg

I recently asked for a pattern to be made for my daughter of her father in law who passed away recently, well I had 2 very nice patterns made for me, so I asked my daughter to choose and she chose the one by Jim Blume put I would also like to thank TDpainter for taking the time to also make a pattern I really appreciate it. This was cut in 3mm ply. Sorry about the shadow that covering part of the photo. I added the dates and the plane, he was a one eyed Bombers supporter. Marg

The bamboo that I use always looks like that when I take the pattern off, I just hit it with the orbital sanders and they are gone. Marg
