I use a fair bit of Danish Oil and I always put some into a smaller container because I find that by brushing it straight from the tin it tends to get thick and gluggy by the time I am half way down the tin. Well 2 - 3 months ago I bought a couple of small jars with screw top lids and I half filled one with oil and when I had finished using it for the day I put it in the fridge ( we have a spare in the garage ) just to see what would happen. Well I have cut and oiled 15 mobile phone holders with 3 coats of oil each and just had to top it up a little once. Normally it would have had to be thrown away a couple of time by now. So ask you wife if you are allowed to put a small jar of Danish Oil in the fridge and give it a go. By the way when I say small jar I mean small it is only a couple of inches tall. Give it a go what do you have to lose.
