I have been doing names for teachers for quite a few years now but one of the teachers at my granddaughters school as always wanted one but never taught either of the grand kids, this year she fought tooth and nail to be Holly's teacher but missed out, what she doesn't know is that I am making one for her this year as a surprise. The pattern is by Gayle from over at the Scroller's Cafe. I cut this from 2.5mm Bamboo. It's the first time I cut Bamboo and at first I found it a bit splintery but it cuts great, no voids and sands up beautifully. There was hardly any fuzzies at all which is great I hate spending a lot of time sanding them out. I did not stack cut I wanted to see how it cut by itself and I must say, I am impressed. The blades I used are Olsen 2/0 Reverse Tooth. Marg

It is good to walk away and do something else that way you do not lose your sanity. The distractions are great, love the way you have the grain going one way on one and the other way on the other. Did I distract you even more, I hope so now go out the and do what you are good at. Marg
