  14. You did well grasshopper. Looks great Dick. What I do when I am trying something new on the computer is write things down step by step, then when it is spot on I re write it into a special note book I have that just contains my 'How To Guide'. Works for me. Marg

  17. I use 'Stick & Release' from scrolleronline.com. You just cut it to the required size put it on the wood, pull off the outer layer of paper, stick on the pattern and away you go. Would not use any other method now. Easy to attach and easy to remove. No smell, no fuss. Marg
  18. Excellent piece DW. Like the intarsia on the end. Marg
  19. Very interesting box. If it was me I would sand, sand and sand until it was finished just to get it out of the way. Sorry can't help with the files I've never used them. Marg
  20. Hi Mark, welcome to the Village. I'm Marg from Australia. Pull up a seat and make yourself at home. Do yourself a favor and take dgman's advice and get your blades from mikesworkshop. Can't really help you with spiral blades because I don't use them in fact I hate them. Has for your EX, try taking the tension right off, insert your blade and put the tension back on slowly, a bit at a time until you get it just right. Maybe that will work. I must ask, Why did you choose Germany? Most Brits choose Spain, Canada, Australia ( like we did ). Do you speak German? Sorry just wondering thats all. I am a very inquisitive person, some say just plain nosey. Marg
  21. Congratulations on the promotion. I'm sure your friend was very appreciative. Marg
