Len I use a very thin transparency film and for the color I use Amos Glass Deco. Not sure where you would get the transparency film from, I guess you could try Ebay or Amazon and the Amos Glass Deco you could Google or you can get it from Ebay. Marg

I bought a set of Christmas fans from Sue Mey just before Christmas. I thought I would give one ago last week, it ended up being thicker than I wanted because I had to use 3mm ply so when you put 2 together you end up with 6mm. Once again I used a thin piece of film and used Amos Glass Deco. They are approx.4" wide, so not very big at all but if you wanted to make them bigger they would look just as nice. Marg

Mark you really nailed that portrait, you should be very pleased with yourself. The friend will be impressed and honored to receive this gift. Yes I also have been asked to make these types of portraits and if they cried I knew that I had done a good job. ( I no longer do portraits though because the software I used is way out of date and is no longer compatible with my computer, or anyones computer come to that ) Marg

Jordan that was a great gift to give. I'm sure she adored it. I personally like the black it's the purple that needs to be a bit more purple'er ( sorry could not think of another word) How thick was your wood? Maybe it was too thick. Marg
