No Kevin I always post when I make something new, I just don't post when its something that is already in my gallery. Most of last year seemed to be taken up with making Christmas ornaments which you had all seen, and I must admit it was a nice little money earner.

Thanks everyone not sure where I am going with it yet but I do know it won't be cutting coins not really into that sort of thing. I'm sure I will come up with something sooner or later.

Hey Keith if you have to look for work can you do voluntary work at an age care facility, that way you can get your money, and sit down, all for a few hours a week. Thats what they do over here after you get to a certain age. Just a thought. Glad your Dad's on the improve.

Hans I thought this was very tame coming from you but then I read your comment further down and changed my mind. Spiral blades and dull ones at that, sir you are a master scroller.

This is not a Brag as such. At the start of the year Travis asked what we would be doing in 2015 or something like that, 2 of the things that I mentioned that I wanted to have a go at were cutting very thin Stainless Steel and doing an Intarsia project. Well I have not done the Intarsia yet but that will happen soon. Anyway I got out my piece of Stainless Steel the other day and cut this. Has you can see its not the best but I was pretty happy with it. Well my daughter gave me a small piece of Copper yesterday so out I went today and had a go at cutting it, and I must say I am thrilled with the way they turned out. The Copper was slighter thicker than the stainless steel which I think helped a lot. I know that these little jig saw pieces are not of the same caliber as the coins people cut, but to me they are priceless it's like beginning my scroll saw hobby all over again. So it's true we are never too old to learn.

Jordan I don't care how old you are you are a member of this scrolling family and you will be treated like one. Now get in there and clean your room. Just kidding but I meant every word of the first sentence. Firstly I love the pattern of the feather that you made. Secondly you always seem to be second guessing yourself. What type of blades do you use, if they are cheap s*#t get new ones. I have lots of blades I don't like and wont use but I had to try them before I could say I didn't like them. Use the pine to see how easy or hard your pattern is to cut then use good stuff, you will also know by then where you may have gone wrong. But mainly just sit back and say, " Man I Am Proud Of What I Just Cut." And remember its all practice practice practice. Overall for your 2nd project I'll give you 10/10. It's looks great.

Apart from the eye looking a little too big I like it even if it's a sea gull. Looks good Dick and your cousin will love it no matter if it's got a big eye and goofy feet, because thats what makes it special.

That my friend is called the snow ball effect. You have one consolation, they are all different you are not cutting the same thing over and over again. Go for it.

By the way, I forgot to ask, what is the font you used, I quite like it. Marg
