I agree WOW. You did an amazing job. I look at the photo first and thought how lucky you were to find a piece of wood just the right shape for the owl pattern. It looks so natural.

I also use blue painters tape but if I know that it will take me a while to cut I spray both the pattern and the side the painters tape is on and it will stay there until I am finished and pull the painters tape off.

Paul that is way toooooooooo clean. I sit I have 2 high bar stools one at my DeWalt and one at my Ex21 but sometimes I have to stand if the piece I am working on is on the larger side. Its terrible when you are only 5'1" and have short arms to match. :)
My things are scattered on a couple of benches and my blades are in containers hooked onto a peg board.

About 14 years ago I was doing folk art painting and the lady I was doing it with kept asking my husband who is a carpenter for different shapes in the end he went out and got himself a 16" Delta Scroll Saw. Well it was sitting in the garage and it had only been there a week and I asked my husband to show me how it worked and he did. Well that was it I was hooked. I was never off it and my husband never got to use it. I finally killed it but it gave my 5 very good years, then I got myself a DeWalt now I also have an Ex21. I was happy to say that I had finally found something that I was good at and I am still hooked.

It is fine Docupton, none of us could pick a fault, little deviations are what makes it hand made, plus letters can be a bit tricky. So don't beat yourself up about it, just enjoy it.
