  5. Lucky last for the year. First I would like to thank Old Crow DonR for his help with these. Don did the pattern of the boy and I did the pattern of the girl but Don looked it over for me and that was a great help. Thanks Don. I actually stack cut 4 which is a first for me and I am happy to say that no one lost an eye this time. LOL The wood is 3mm Hoop Pine marine ply and the frame came from a $2 & More shop and cost about $5.00. Hope you like it.

  12. I have not cut one ornament yet this year I have been too busy cutting orders that I received before I went away, while I was away (for relatives in the UK) and since I got back. It sounds as if the money is rolling in but for everyone I cut for money I seem to cut 2 for love. LOL Again working on the one that broke last week so I am taking it slowly because I do not want to try a third time. Marg

  16. Have any of you used Poplar ply and if so what did you think about it. I went to a ply company yesterday to see what they had in stock and the fellow showed my some 2mm poplar ply and it looked very nice and in fact I liked the color. BUT it was cheap, now normally I would like cheap but cheap ply always puts me off. It was a big sheet and it was $36AUS thats about $34.50US. I don't want to start cutting it and the ply layers start to fall off like what can happen with some cheap ply's. My husband says not to get short grain but he was not with me and the guy there was no help at all so now I'm hoping you could give me your expert opinions please. Marg
