  6. Thanks for the kind words everyone...........I appreciate it. LOLOLOL Barry...........very diplomatic! The photo I used to make this pattern was pretty bad.................and the angle of the dogs head made it look like a bush in real life too lolol. I think she'll like it anyway. Christina

  8. Of my mom and her dog "Little Man". 8"X10", 1/4" BB and I used a #1 FD New Spiral Blade. I wish I had done this bigger because it was a real booger trying to cut all those jaggedy areas........thank goodness for spirals! I still have to finish it, back it, and frame it..........but I couldn't wait to share lol. My hubby thinks the dog looks like a bush. Aw well I'm happy with it. It's a gift for my mom of course. I'm probably going to back it with posterboard and use spray acrylic finish.......not sure how I'll frame it yet. Christina

  14. Fabulous cutting! I love this pattern and have thought about purchasing this one myself...........but my skills are definitely not up to it yet lololol. You did a great job on it.............thanks so much for sharing it with us. Christina
  15. Yep, it's just about the right time to think about Christmas..........it'll be here before you know it! I've tried to work on gifts, but like Fran, it's just been so hot I can't do much of anything. I did my butterfly box and decided that had to go to my sister in law. I'm working on a portrait of my mom and her dog "Little Man".............my first portrait! And I'm sure wishing I had blown it up much bigger! I left it at 8" X 10".............and it's a Scotty mix type terrier with loads of fur and boy oh boy am I having fun with all those little jaggidy pieces for a first portrait.........GEEZ. But it's going okay just really slow. I also have my Lady Swinging on the Moon in progress..........again I did it the same size and should have done it much bigger. I want to do a few ornaments............but my curve/circle cutting is still pretty bad lololol. I keep practicing but it doesn't get much better so far. My hubby has put in his order for a portrait of our niece Ashleigh, one of his dad and he keeps seeing this one and that one that he just has to have lolol. I cut Joscrolls "Manure Occurith" as a gift for a coworker of my son's........then forgot to take pictures to share............dumb dumb dumb! But it turned out great. Hopefully I'll actually find time to get the ones done that I want to do! Christina
  16. This is a great idea Travis. I don't have access to a laser printer either. And I've not attempted a puzzle of any kind yet. But I have used my ink jet printers for various craft project. I just us a clear acrylic spray.............very fine mist.............and put a think layer on and let it dry really well. I've not had any trouble with the ink running. I've had different printers over the years too..............Lexmark, Canon, etc... And it seems to work all the same. As long as you hold the can way away so it's a really fine mist and put it on thin...........the ink doesn't run. At least it didn't for me lol. I'd try it a few times on some practice pieces. Then I would think using the spray adhesive would work well. Christina
  17. Thanks so much for the kind words Grumpy, Fran and Barry...........I appreciate it. Barry we are always our own worst critics lol. Christina
