  6. Lots of good ideas I have been seeing. I have a bowl blank in glue up, I will post a picture of it before I cut the bowl from it. I am not real sure yet what the bowl will look like. Time will tell. DW

  8. As most of you know I make banks along with a lot of other things. One of the byproducts from making my banks are pieces of white pine that measure 11 - 12 inches long x 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 inches wide x 3/4 inches thick. I have approximately 200 of these surfaced on all 4 sides, top, bottom, both long axis sides. My question for you all is what would you do with them? I can glue them up as a panel that is 11-12 inches long x 3/4 inches thick x however many boards I want to glue together, then sand the top and bottom smooth with my 18" drum sander( sand flee knockoff ). Suggestions? DW
  9. Better the cutting than the cutter. Consider it lesson learned. Glad you were not hurt. Next slight trim you have to make use the scroll saw DW

  11. What was the temperature in the area where you were applying your lacquer. If the lacquer is too cold it will check, if the piece is too cool it will check.. just a couple of thoughts on the subject. DW

  13. Kevin take a thin piece of ply ( 1/8 inch ) glue it to the back of the sign behind the wheels. Drill the appropriate size hole for a dowel and glue a dowel in to hold the wheels. Great work on all of them. DW

I have Corel but have not played with the more advanced features, I have Adobe as well as Inkscape and several others... there was a time back a bit that I wanted to possibly be a graphic artist... alas.. that is not were my skills reside. DW
