  2. Very nice work. They all look very good.
  3. Excellent work DW. Takes a lot of patience to cut metal on the scroll saw. Very well done.
  4. I sit at the saw, use a deadman switch and of course need music! I use a couple of MP3 players through headphones. I currently have my blades just in a drawer in the workbench, but I think I will shamelessly "borrow" an idea or two for blade storage on the saw. Thanks for the ideas!
  5. Very nice DW... sharp looking basket. Thanks for sharing with us.
  6. Very nice. I like the dowel rod idea, makes an original project every time.
  7. Very nice job. That one is on the list for my grandson and I to complete. I agree with DW, I'm thinking you baked your tires to get the desired color. Looks really good.
  8. I also enjoy making toys for my grandkids. The older ones like the challenge of puzzles, the younger ones like the toy cars and trucks. Haven't got any pics of the cars/trucks/racers as they disappeared from the shop as soon as they were ready to play with. It's interesting that they play more with the homemade stuff than with any of the commercial toys we have around the house. Will try to pry them away from the kids to get a few pictures of them and I'll post them at that time.
  9. Very nicely done, Chris. I'm sure he'll get lots of use out of that puzzle.
  10. Spring to autumn I try to work outside whenever its nice out. Nothing beats the natural light, and time seems to fly by when you're on the saw. One other thing to remember is to use sunscreen to avoid getting a sunburn on the back of your neck and ears.
  11. Very nice work. Love the use of different woods, makes them really stand out.
  12. Awesome video. My 5 year old grandson is always with me in the shop whenever he visits. A couple of weeks ago we built whistles for his class for Christmas - he learned how to use the drill press and bandsaw. Now he's planning other projects he wants to make!! Its always a treat when he's there.
  13. Very nice work, DW! Chuck...
  14. Very nice work, DW.
  15. Excellent job, Kevin!
  16. Very nicely done, DW. Really like the gumball machine in walnut. Thanks for sharing these with us.
  17. David, you did quite well with this one. Looks good, can't wait to see the next one. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Great job, looks good.
  19. Very nice work, DW. It looks great.
  20. Like Bill & Clayton, I cut in whichever direction I feel most comfortable with and have the best control of the piece. I cut the most delicate areas first and work out from there.
  21. Very nice work, Clayton. Your granddaughter is going to get a lot of use out of this rocking horse.
