Shows are funny animals some can be great and others a real bummer. I do well at them but only do about 8 a year. My items range from 5 dollars to over 100 dollars. Most are in the 25 to 30 dollar range. Unlike you I do mostly fret work and therefore can stack cut items. That helps bring down my time and cost per item. On thicker items I ask more. Shared a booth with a ftriend for several years and he sold intarsia and we did about the same at shows. After several years all I can say is stick with it and have fun and you do meet some interesting folks at these shows. my wife loves all the animals folks bring along with them. We have got to meet pigs, small horses, and even a Joey ( small Kangaroo like criter. jim penquin
