  1. Beautiful job on the cross! Just my two cents...there are some glues that dry clear ( I use Weldbond)..might be something to consider. Just a nice thin coat should do it...Something like what you did I'd put another piece of wood on top then grab one of the bazillion paint cans I have in my basement for weight, and let it sit the night.
  2. Looks like I'm the first to post a pic: I made this for my niece for Christmas. My family is getting together at her house to celebrate her 40th birthday and an early Chirstmas. I haven't seen them for a couple years...it's a long drive from western PA to Maine, where we usually gather. Tomorrow I'm leaving for her house in Connecticut..still quite a drive. This is a pattern that I designed, so I also posted in the new patterns for anyone who would like it. Now that I posted the pattern...I see that there is already a copy in the new pattern section. Travis...feel free to delete my duplicate.
  3. This is my fall creation...thanks to Steve Good for the Owl pattern!
  4. ....you have more patterns than you could ever cut in 50 lifetimes....and daily add to the collection!
  5. Or word art?
  6. Just got my T-shirt from CafePress....the design looks great. Thanks again for all who voted on my design!
  7. http://www.meiselwoodhobby.com/Home.aspx One I've used a couple times.
  8. Another design I came up with: (the website is there...if you look closely at the scrollsaw )
  9. A nice easy one:
  10. Here's my entry:
  11. Hey, great job...looks like you've got the pattern making knack for sure!
  12. I'd have to say my drill press, followed closely by my mop sander.
  13. And another version: And a question for Travis: I just kinda "eyeballed" the heart placement, but I'm sure there's a method- in inkscape maybe? - to get them perfectly symmetrical? Or maybe this will be part of our pattern making school lessons?
  14. I'll start things off with my Moms Rock trivit pattern: (I have not cut this yet...just showing what it would look like with a wood fill color.)
  15. AWESOME JOB, FRAN!!!! I love it!
