    I did this work for a local singer combining several techniques in this work. I hope you like this

    Hey Dan, these are made from pine wood, I do my pattern over a MDF fold to place it over the wood and draw around. Sides are 2" x 1/4". I use steam to get soft wood before jointing it with the bottom part. I sued 1" nails in the border. Basically need to work with the table saw and some scrollsaw touchs. Feel free to ask for more details if necessary, I will be glad to support you. see below pictures of the pattern ( homemade pattern) LOL

    I just sent today to customer a couple of sushi boats, they are 90 cm long by 31 cm wide, lot of learning on this project, 4 more in progress, two of them already sold and two more to have in stock
