  4. Welcome to the Village Ray! Where in PA are you located?
  5. Stack cutting is where you would put several pieces of thin wood together to cut out multiple copies of a project. Things to stack cut would be portraits, ornaments, fretwork are some examples that you can stack cut.
  6. Nice job Ron.....the detail work looks great
  7. Welcome to the Village Chris! Great job on the box too.
  8. Welcome to the Village Mike!
  9. Nice job on your cutting. Looks like you have been cutting for years
  10. Dave I would stay away from flea markets. Most people will try to talk you down in price. Craft shows are the place to be. I would never let a customer beat me down on price. You really should keep the price the same on each product you sell. I do offer free shipping if I dont have the product right there for them. I sell only free standing puzzles and It is almost impossible to have every single type that I make on hand. A lot of my sales are orders that I have to make after the show. I mainly hit the low cost craft show ($50.00-$100.00 for a space). My average sales at a show are only $500.00. I could have more in sales if I sold a variety of items.

    Hello!

    Welcome to the Village Matt!
  12. Is your cuts cutting at an angle instead of a straight line up and down??
  13. Mike at Flying Dutchman has very low shipping fees. He also has mini drill bits at a reasonable price too. There are a couple of other online shops that carry his blades but I prefer to deal with him.

Great job! The lettering on the cross really stands out.....I really like that.
  16. Everyone has one and we really would like to know what your is and why! Mine is actually my computer! I really enjoy making patterns for my puzzles and customers.
  17. Yes they have had a problem with this. I had it on my saw and was able to reduce it the problem. 1. The lower blade assembly. There are 2 allen screws that hold this in on each side. Loosen them up. 2. The blade assembly will actually move back and forth just a little bit. I pulled mine out and this helped my cutting. 3. Tighten the screws up and do a test cut. You will have to play with this to see what position works better for you. Good luck
  18. They look nice Dave! Great job

  21. Welcome to the Village Kendall
  22. Tony welcome to the village. All that matters is you are enjoying the craft. Your selling price should not really matter unless you need to make money. I sell my stuff to but I only charge just enough to cover my expenses. I do have a little bit left over but enough to jump around and shout that I am making a living! Please post some pictures of your work
