  1. Hi all, I did a craft market this last weekend so took a photo of my display. Unfortunately people were not spending their money, so only just covered my costs! I think it's the Rob Roy effect!! Richie

  6. Never had any problems with lemon oil, I buff it hard between coats and it dries without any bleeding, and I don't normally put any other finish on top but I do sometime give it a coat of wax. Richie
  7. Hi Roly Great display, it takes time for people to get to know your there, and come Christmas they will be queuing up to buy! One tip that may help, try having steps on the table top so that your items are not all on the same level. All the best for the next one. Richie
  8. Stu I find a No1 or 2 blade works fine and keeps the pieces a close fit, but it depends on the wood thickness and hardness. Richie

  16. Hi everyone, another item off the production line! The Seahorse clock and desk pen is cut from English Elm and finished using Lemon Oil. Not easy to get Elm these days but it is a beautiful wood to work with and has great grain patterns. Hope you like it. Richie
  17. Hi Dan to keep up with orders I usually spend about 2.5 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon three days a week.I must admit I do sit down for some of the time. Richie

  20. Hi Donald, my workshop is indoors I have one room of my flat set up with a workbench, scroll saw , pillar drill. and router table.I also have dust extraction. It all works well and It is lovely and warm in winter. Richie
