  9. I have used the paint markers they are ok ,but on compound cut ornament's it is hard to get to the inner areas. I would suggest a paint brush the smaller ones . if they are to big you can cut a angle on them with sizzors
  10. Clayton a job well done ! I'm still a newbie at Intarsia , seeing a flat pieces of wood. then pieces of them turning into a lovely piece of art. Is just amazing David
  11. Congradulation That should be posted at your booth . But on the other hand you might not want to post it last survey showed he was not to well liked. David
  12. All good tips I have a glue stick , I get 3 at the dollar store. for when that pattern starts to lift up I just dap it and ready to go. 20x20 box fan with ( angle iron pop riveted on the side) a filter for dust . A shop vac for clean up David
  13. I save alot scrap pieces(from fretwork , small pieces ,and when removing pattern the tape and paper) in the plastic shopping bags you get at stores . When full I tie it shut and use them when I go camping or a fire outside for Fire starter Just lay it in the pit open the bag wood nice and dry . Other scraps like Maple , Cherry , etc , etc are used in the smoker or grill to add to the flavor . YUMMeeeee Now just starting into Intarsia I can see were small pieces would be of use . David

  17. I have to agree with Travis on this . After all if members ask the one who made the project they will tell them if it is available , if not they will tell them were they can obtain it or do a pattern request on the subject. By taken as Travis said it discourages designers from posting there patterns

But it does happen I usally remove my drill bits from the drill just to prevent them from getting bump and end up bent . It is a pain but then it does save bits well hope everthing is ok and keep it clean. David
