  1. Review of my Pegas scrollsaw. I have made enough items on it now to see if I like it.I like it a lot, it runs very smooth and quiet. Was real easy to adjust to my cutting style. If you were thinking of a new saw, I would look at the Pegas. There blade holders are standard so you don't need to pay an extra $100. to buy them. I had an Ex-21 before the Pegas and I like the Pegas better. Bob
  2. Sorry don't know why my post is so big. I must have done something wrong and don't know how to fix it.

  4. A cutting I did for my son's rec room. Cut out of baltic birch and finished with lacquer. I don't remember who made the pattern.

  9. Go to a place that makes car and truck magnetic signs. They have it in 24 inch rolls. Mine was 18x24 and cost me $10. I also cut a 3x3 inch square out for the blade. I cut 3x3 pieces of left over material . Now very easy to replace as needed .
  10. One way to fix problem is to buy a chuck that will work on small bits. I did this a few years ago. I now have no problem holding small bits without slippage. I use down to #60 drill bits no problem. Bob

  13. My blade holder will not apply much tension on blade. Pegas is sending me a new set. Just wanted to know if other people were having problem cutting thick material with Pegas holder. Bob
  14. Is anyone having trouble cutting compound cuts in 1 1/4" material with #7 blade or any other blade? The blade holder not having good tension on blade and cutting problem.Thank you for any help. Bob
  15. I e-mailed the factory and they told me you feed the blade the same way you do with the holders that are on the saws now, from the front and not from the bottom.

  17. Have you ever posted a picture of your boxes? You have great compliments on your boxes and was wondering what they looked like. Glad you did well at show. Bob
  18. I have to sit down when scrolling. A standard office height was a little to low. I looked for a higher one and could only find drafting chairs and they were to high. I found out you can replace cylinder on chairs very easy. The cylinders come in different sizes. I found the size I needed to raise a chair that I had up to a height that worked for me. Also the cylinder adjust for up and down. There are videos on the internet that show how to change cylinder.This way you can take any chair change the cylinder to work for your needs. Bob

  21. Use a small hose clamp, works great. Bob
  22. Use clear packing tape over pattern and it will cut a lot easier. Bob
