3/4" sptuce cut with a scroll reverse #9&,7& 5 &3 blades,Just trying out differant ones 7&9 are noisey.Patterns from"CREATIVE WOODWORKS&CRAFTS MAY 2011.Was going thru my magazines looking for something to cut today that appealed to me.(of course letters,lol)Took all of an hour of cutting.9.5"wide & tall.

Done on 1/4" drawer bottom three ply wood gloss on one side.Been a while since i did a portrait on this kind of wood and hope it's my last .The gloss side causes the wood to warp and it's no fun cutting wood that goes up and down as fast as the blade does.Cut with a spiral #1 ,160 holes were 1/8" and the other 160+ were a 1/16" drill bit.Over 320 holes.5.5 hours of cutting this today in two shots.Only only 1ccident when cayenne pepper got in my eye.Vykus did real good on this pattern thank you sir!

I've heard the name Dirk Boelman so much but can't put my finger on just who he was.Best i can remember he was like part of the big family of scrollers in a greater sense of the word..I'll have to google him to refresh my failing memory.I'm sure he was in all the magazines as a regular contributor. What a surprise for someone to leave us in a second like that with no fighting chance.Like he was running on empty and ran out.He'll be long remembered and revered as one of the great ones, My condolences go out to you and yours .

Thanks BOBBY, usually I don't have a choice for nice wood, but sometimes it works out. i try a lot of mock up to see what way looks the best!
