  7. are you using a pin nail gun ,these are very thin pin nails and I don't think they will split the wood .that's what I used on a sign I did with no glue 3" letters too.

  16. ok mine is new so it does the same thing yours does at 40 degrees so that's the way they designed it.good to know.thanks for pointing it out i'd have never thought about it.good thing you sent the picture,that way i knew right where to look.
  17. Man alive that paint job looksm like it was dipped in plastic! Incredible amazing quality on this project .Same exacting quality as the project you made for me!They just don't get anybetter than this. seeing is believing!
  18. wow you dug it to the past .I forgot to count my blessing since then.it has been getting better as a matter of fact.he didn't open a door or a window for me he dropped a house on me!I am blessed! to have such faithful friends here in ssv !
  19. my biggest tool used is the drum sander in the drill press,with a blanket behind the drill press to slow down the pieces I let slip out of my fingers as I sand my nails,lol It help localize a place to look for them too.A quick way is a 45 degree router bit for down and dirty fast removal of beveling the side of intarsia pieces.all ways work suit your self.the dremil is very handy too.
  20. mine has a blade tighten modification on the top blade tightening screw .a simple one ,just a bottle cap glued over it to permit easyer turning and it hits before I get to 45 a little but yours is on the bottom of the saw.????cant help you BUT a picture is worth a thousand words and someone will see the problem immediately.show the saw I several positions and angles .Will solve the problem for you.

  22. my first show 9 vendors were there ,beads jewelry,custom hand painted tee shirts that were out of this world great,baskets etc,i was the only one that sold anything and I think it was 90 bucks ,I was giving away trivial things to keep my spirit up before the sakes zoomed in.Most at the end of the show .15bucks entry fee at a park.bad thing there was no advertisement of the show.
  23. ok I tilted my dewalt type 1 both ways and didn't see anything that would be a problem.is your saw used where it could have under gone some miss repair or assembly?
  24. well don it looks like it took 73 years to perfect your ornaments to this degree of "ain't that purrdy"cupped wood is a problem but waste not want not!How did you stick cupped stacked wood and have them come out so nice.Great work on the scroll saw!
  25. that's how I do it les but i use my finger held steady as a fence and do real good.have done many 3' cuts on the john 3:16 I did in the old gallery in pine 3/4".little tricks like yours will sure help those struggeling with spirals.good job sir!
