  8. I've lurked on the net so much try to find a way to make $ with the scroll saw put never even got close. Was praying today and about an hour later my friend brings in the owner of the building and occupant of the bay next to my friends.he does religous stuff.Well he looked at some of my work on the table chock full of dust and asked if i could cut composite .i admited i did'nt know what that was so he whent back to his shop mand produced some i believ corian 3/8" and 1/2".he said if you can cut this i have work for you .i asked if the work was small items he said yes.jesus fish angles crosses words. He left and i nibbled on a corner to see if the #7 scrollreverse blade would even touch it.To my amazement id not only cut it it left it baby butt smooth.ugreeka i down loaded the jesus fish and a few other things cut them and brought them over and left them with a young man as the man was busy..Time will tell but this has been the best prospect in 7 years. The last one is mdf but if he has thin corian i can cut the god is great god is good napkin holder to for him.hope i pass the test!the napkin holder is mdf 1/4" stacked
  9. They are all exquisive work to see,i would not even attempt to try the first one ,it's even hypnotic to look at let alone scroll.but it was a piece of cake for you looking at the rest of your works!Very very proffessionaly done pieces.Great choices too.so happy to have your tallant on board! the last one is marvelously smooth cut free style letters,i cringe to do letters like that. That v.w. bus is full of life yet ,no rust i can see,lol It is beautyful to see done so nice .No paitience for mthe windmill in me.thats a work of art like the effels tower.Your a dedicated scroll i can see.Ol floppy ears is packed full of muscle, and not a wrinkle out of place.Should you set up a craft show somewhere there will be a croud of customers bidding on your majestic treasures. Can't wait to see what you wow us with next thanks for the showing!
  10. Yes sir it cuts but slower and the blade gets alot hotter which shortens it's life plus you have to smell fiberglass.I have'nt been able to use the dewalt above 5 on the speed control. but recently took it all apart and used valvoline synthetic on all the bearing i could get to.one bearing was real bad and there was no way of me pressing it out to grease so the squeeky wheel got none.but now moths later i need the high speed to cut the mica an 3/4 ply faster so i tryed it on high speed .before the grease job anything above 5 it would knock.now on speed 8 it's very quite and no knock.Steve good says he does all his cutting on speed #8.
  11. this ones done on 3/4 plywood with thick fancy formica on top.took 43 minutes on the dewalt at warp speed of 8 wide open.with a scroll reverse #7 and a scroll reverse #1 only because i'm out of differant size bits I wanted to use a 5 but no drill bit,10.75" tall and 8 " wide.i think this was a sue mey.com pattern. Not sure if it will go on a wall or stand. Thanks for looking
  12. thanks group! another one coming this morning too, hang on!
  13. Well I said i'd try it and I did it.no less than 80 holes in 1/8" maysonite done with a number 3 scrollreverse blade from mikesworkshop.com this baby went fast as it took 43 minutes on the dewalt with the speed set down to 2.5 so I could control it.I had lots of fun cutting him as he was smiling at me while I cut him up ,lol the Masonite was white on one side 11" x 8" enlarged with the amazing "rapidresizer.com "program by Patrick. roberts
  14. that is fabulous ! the oak and walnut set each other off smartly .real nifty saw blade.
  15. Very good job of patterning.Looks like a short bed.when the spots around the lights and grill get to be to tricky ,just fatten them up a little and you'll be ok.Travis's Cadillac was like that and took me days ,a little at a time as I was afraid of breaking thru the complex grill .
