IHAD A REQUEST FOR A MEDITATING TABLE 24"LONG 11" WIDE 7" TALL she sent a picture of the one she liked and wanted it in cheap wood All found plywood glued an finish nailed .table sawed legs and top ,scroll sawed miters,cut outs,bevels were done on the table saw .Everything came out great and all pieces cloned but one leg out of 4 is a 1/4" to long??????I can't imagine what went wrong???? everything is an exact match????

I got all of my dw788's sakura and craftsmans ,deltas dremils,and chingsuey scroll saw's from craig's list!over a dozen!

Great to have you here. An 18 " craftsman i had to modify by cutting lots of metal out of the way so i could get my hand in it to loosen the bottom blade! Start out by making things that you like ,that will keep you interested in the hobby to start and then for your friends make little thing ,key-chains ,puzzles etc Remember to have fun your friends will be amazed at what you will be turning out,thanks for joining!Keep coming back! :D ;) :cool:

Ya gotta beat the bushes, My friend with a sub shop has flyers delivered just before lunch and brings in new customers daily.The more people that see your work the greater the odds are that you'll bring home the bacon .Leave flyers in grocery store bulletin boards, laundry mat,door to door on door knobs .Make sure gifts is on the list on the flyers as Christmas is right around the corner.Everything is a percentage.Out of 100mflyer you'll get so many orders ,out of 1000 expect more. You'll get the hang of it. Nothing ventured nothing gained,advertisement is everything.Good luck.A race horse knows that the hard he works the more he wins!

Funny you would say that You've no idea how many cans of wd40 i have that i can't find.I had a bathroom window that would not open for nothing .I was abe to get good leverage with tools and still it would not budge. I sprayed (soaked) it down with wd40 Let it stand over night and tried the crank the next day .You would have thought it was brand new window .Absolutely not any resistance at all opening it .amazing stuff,they say transmission fluid is even better?

I'm with Ralph ,ex large pieces, make for an easier job picking them up for us young timers,lol Your off to a great start doing these .I'd like to see a works in progress step by step on how these come about .Good show mate!

I knew these were going to take off! Incredible design smartly styled ! I think they are about a foot tall and maybe 4" thick.I don't know if you have drawer stops or they can just be pulled completely out of the unit.But no two ways around it they look great.I highly impressed! :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

Francisco ,it's the best having the saw angled like this ,if fact i want it angled more ,but am to lazy to change it.I'd really like a saw that can change positions readily manually.Guess i'll have to design the cart to do that.Thanks.The bangles help you keep your back straight ,less back pain.It's up a foot in the back.

The shop is crammed again .I try to keep things close so i don't have to get up ,just reach over and get the wood.I sad about the drill press being out of reach now ,i still need to organize but being on my feet hurts me bad.Not so much my feetas my legs and hip.Come on over and we'll have a clean up party and take some wood home!Thanks BOB! ;) ;)
