Yeah buddy , i did one on ol yeller and that was enough!Way to many things in the way to move.My shops have always been like that.Harbor freight has a 12 volt 24" scroll saw in their main catologe, discontinued but i think if you wanted one you could get one.It takes pinned blades.

My upgrade from Chinese saws to a Dewalt was incredible.As soon as i turn on the Dewalt i was waiting for it to start.It was running but made absolutely no noise or vibration.I couldn't believe my eye's.! But then cutting some wood again all you heard was the wood cutting too.Your going to be sold ,lot stock and barrel when you get your new saw.Don't forget "Honey" appreciation!

Thanks Peter, Google ANKH'S ,A lady that sells jewels and beads commissioned me to make ankh earrings out of wood ,mica,& metal plus the huge Ankh's.I guess your the one that designed the two doves,I would have acknowledge that but your name was not on the pattern by the time i got around to cutting it ,thanks!

Don't you know that when you give something away that when YOU need it .My 20" dremil accepts blades both ways , just switch the blade holder around.that's worth considering to make this job go nicer .I'm getting $6 bucks a pop and all the detailing i gotta do makes for me vnot a happy camper!

time keeps ticking away and it seems like my scrolling time never comes lately.This is a two day project sneaking in a minute here and there. So-many things to keep me from scrolling. Now i need advice on how to cut the ANKH cross .Its 3.5 feet tall 2' wide 1/8" thick .Iv'e tryed the jig saw underheath the table mounted and i've tryed free hand with the jig saw on top neither way give quality cuts they are clean cuts just not diserable ones .i have to do lots of sanding to true up the edges.

Welcome!If i read your profile right your 98 years old! No time like the present to get started in scroll sawing.I see your very interested in trhe finer aspects of scrolling too.Clocks have been on my chopping block since day one ,but it never happened.Your goinf to wow us with your handywork as soon as you can post pictures of your works.Clever of you to mount the jig saw on a table like that,your wheels are always turning to get the jobs done!Keep coming back as your a member now.I can see were going to be learning alot from each other!Welcome friend!!!! :thumbs:
