  3. Hi everyone, can any one help me, i am looking for a contact in the U S who supplies spares for my Delta scroll saw [16"] model 40-570 [7 years old ] the unit being a Variable speed controller. Unfortunately we no longer have any won in the U k who sells Delta scroll saws or even Delta equipment. look forward to your comments Brian

Hi Kevin, the way i do it is by cutting it to 12" and put it through my thicknesser or cut the width you require and slice it down on a band saw to required thickness and finish with a sander. or other wise do like i use to before i had the thicknesser go to a carpenters workshop and ask him to get you out of trouble many will if they relise that it is only a hobby of yours but if they charge and it is reasonable you can then pass the cost on to your customers, then you have not paid any thing for the cutting charge [is this any help] Brian

  6. Finished my last Craft Fare order Dec 24th for 2010,Wolf Resting. Pattern designer Sue Walker [shady Lady] cut from lace wood with olive ash backing finished with 5 coats of Danish oil. size 12"x9"x1" thick. I would like to thank Sue once again for sharing this pattern. Brian

  12. I was ask to make a plaque for a local Probus club [ Retired professional business mans club ] from natural wood no dyes to be used. Timbers used Padauk, Pau Amarello,Purple heart,Tulip wood,Spalted Beech,Sycamore,with the plaque being Oak.
  13. Hello, just thought that i should introduce myself. My name is Brian and i live in South Gloucestershire,United Kingdom. I started Fret work about 45yrs ago cutting with a hand saw and progressed to an electric scroll saw , Delta and a Axminster which is similar to a Hegner Scroll saw this enabled me to take up Intarsia and then advance Scrolling. I look forward to being part of the Village.
