  1. I promised Grandpa I would post a picture of this when I got it finished. Because of the nerve damage in my hands it took nearly two months, but here it is Grandpa hope you like it!
  2. Thanks, just curious if anyone else has cut it. I found parts of it a bit tricky but all in all not to bad for perhaps and intermediate scroller.
  3. Very nice!
  4. Well they say the proof is in the pudding, well here is the proof that the second Robin Williams patterns I submitted is able to be cut. Enjoy Jer
  5. Here is Robin Williams ready for stain and poly, I was in a hurry to share it with you. Pay no never mind to that one piece of paper I missed chuckle.
  6. This pattern has intrigued me for quite some time, the end of last week I got started on it cutting a little at a time as I was able, finishing it up this evening. Now stain and poly and it will be ready for market.
  7. Still needs stain and poly, however this piece by Skully is the first piece I have completed since getting sick. So was anxious to share it with you.
  8. Have been looking for a pattern on the Iowa Jima flag raising for quite some time, you found yours here? Great job on this!
  9. What can add awesome work!
  10. This looks awesome, great cutting. However I have found that pink doesn't make for a good back ground color, also in agreement with Lucky that you could have used smaller drill bits. However nothing wrong with the cutting itself and you should be proud of your work.
  11. I cut this one myself I think last summer, love the pattern although I sure got tired of cutting all of those "bulrushes" , awesome job on your work.
  12. Awesome work there Skeeter, thanks for sharing.
  13. Awesome work I like the pumpkins the best of the two, a lot of detail cutting involved.
  14. Good luck with the shows, I found that selling or no, shows are a pleasant way to spend a day.
  15. Thanks everyone for you kindness, you all have come to mean so much to me.
  16. Just finished these up a little while ago, three coats of poly and they will be ready to go to market
  17. I do a lot of shows, perhaps way more than I should. But the wife and I get a get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Your booth and workmanship is quite impressive, however I agree with what has already been said. I don't have a clue about your prices, but definitely toss in some attention getters, bait and hook low price items. Personally I put my portraits in a low cost, "display frame" ( Dollar Tree) and stress this to the potential customers saying that they will fit in any standard 8.5 x 11 frame. I also add that I had talked to a frame shop and the cheapest frame price I could get was over thirty dollars which would more than double the price of my items. Selling between $20 and $35 may be low, actually may be very low however at that price my work is getting into the hands (slowly) of happy customers, and people are actually looking my show schedule up on my face book page and coming to look me up. However I do chuckle as the wife keeps saying she is going to start charging $5 each for compliments. So anyway I had to look at why I am doing the shows is it the bottom line or the enjoyment I get meeting and greeting so many awesome people, I finally decided if I get back a portion of my expense and know that I am never going to get rich doing the shows, then I am well satisfied. After all isn't the enjoyment we get out of doing what we do, why we continue to do it?
  18. Hepner it is already in the pattern library, in the old gallery
  19. Thanks again everyone, the wood is 1/4 inch Baltic Birch ply believe it or not. I have found by years of trail and error mostly error, that natural stain which shows the grain in the wood followed by three coats of poly, does and awesome job of finishing off the piece. Kevin most of my things actually make it to the shows, however some pieces are captured by the wife and go on the wall.
  20. Pattern by Tina Long
  21. Paul I always enjoy cutting your patterns, as you have such and amazing talent in your design work. I piddle with it from time to time, and have done what I think is passable patterns of different human subjects, but nowhere close to what you do. Thanks everyone for your appreciation of my work, as it means so much.
  22. Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments. I really had fun cutting this one because of the challenge.
  23. Pattern by Dave Hall
  24. Pattern by Grampa
  25. As agreed here is the finished skull from a pattern of a few weeks back, that the designer was so kind to share with me
