Super pattern, good cutting. Hope you don't mind I have copied the picture and will cut myself one. If you could post a copy of the pattern would be great!

The pattern is by Ardold Volker now handled by his son in law Kyle Sheffer at www.woodyoubelieveshop.com in the USA I saw a picture of this design in a Patrick Spielman book called 300 Christian & Inspirational patterns. I sent a picture of it to Kyle and he postedme the pattern at very reasonable cost. Vey glad you liked it.

You all probably do this anyway, but I have only just thought of it! I have been doing a cut with many very fine holes, i.e. a no.1 blade size and found great difficulty finding the hole to feed the blade through. So I ground the top end of the blade to a point and bingo! pops through every time with no effort!

As Armistice day approaches I thought it would be nice to make a commemorative plaque to remember those who gave their lives for us. I have called it 'Lest we Forget'. I hope you all like it. The background is pine and the soldier is stained with rosewood.

Is there a way of fitting a foot pedel to a machine with a zero volt on/off switch. On mine once the power is removed there is no way to turn it back on without pressing the on switch. I believe this is common on most electrical goods with blades in the UK.

I want to cut some key holders that are 12mm thick. If I cut them one at a time I would use a No.5 blade. How many do you think I could cut at one time and what blade would you use. The wood in question is pine.

When I look in my scrap box I find the offcuts are getting smaller and smaller as I find uses for the larger ones. The question is when is small too small to keep?

How do you get a good uniform finish on MDF, the cut edges soak up paint like its going out of fashion and staining the face looks horrible as it shows up the particles.

I am Cutting a large pattern which is too large to turn all the way round to be able to make the internal cuts. Has anyone tried reversing the blade to cut away from yourself? If so how easy was it.

As we are just past the longest day here in U.K. I was wondering what is the longest time anyone has taken to complete a scrolling project. I took over a month to complete a wooden works clock. But most of that time was getting it to run properly! As I am new to scrolling i am still quite slow. I recently scrolled a rather complicated plaque for my wife which took several days, manly due to the fact i had to hide it at the sound of her approach!!

Hi Paul, I think the Deco has more to offer yet, I think the limiting factor is the squidgy organic bit, i.e. me! Think I will see how my finances go and look again in six months.
