    I use Alder a lot and packing tape on both sides help. If I'm cutting 3/4 I use a #5 or #7 Olson Skip Reverse or #9RG Olson PGT blade.

    Very nice. I never thought of using different types of wood when cutting a puzzle. I like the fish puzzle. where did you find that pattern or is it yours?
