I have the same problem, affording wood. Where I live we don't have a lumber yard close by or Lowes or Home Depot (1 1/2 hr drive) and with gas being as it is I'm not inclinded to drive a great distance. So my projects are all made out of scrap wood I can find. In this economy it's the best we can do.

Like most everybody, my time behind the saw varies. When my eyes start to cross (lol) I know it's time to take a break.

LOL! I wish I had room in my living room, however I do have a second bedroom that just might do the trick!!

Finally got moved from Tennessee to Michigan. Have a garage full of stuff to find a place for! Took a week but finally have my internet service. Now if I could just find a place for my scrollsaw. Golly how I miss it!!
