What would hurt him more is to let Ford know he is selling their Logo. I would think you can use them as public domain to make something but not sell the pattern and stamp them as being yours ??? So many of the patterns are from this forum wondering if it is/was a member ?? We need to all put our heads together and figure out how to out smart him ???

3M #77 ..... if the pattern hasn't been on too lng it peels right off ... can take it off with mineral spirits also or microwave for about 20 seconds and it peels off

If we could convert compliments into cash we would all be rich. Your work is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. You need a good variety of items to choose from which enables you to have different price ranges. I've done some street fairs and have an Etsy account and a facebook account. You can never have too much exposure but if you don't promote your site no one knows it's there. I made some items for my Veterinarian and made sales from people seeing them on his wall. I made items for the people involved in the street fair and they helped promote my booth. I hand out business cards when ever I can. I keep pictures on my phone to show people what I can do. I guess what I am trying to say is that if you want to make money people have to know you have something for sale. Wish there was a magic formula to give but seems to be .. that one person, liking what they see, and willing to pay the price for it ??? Just because you build it doesn't mean they will come in this craft. Hope I didn't ramble too much ...... Marion

I am attaching a link to a video series on beginning Intarsia. I also use the trace method but as he says there are different ways of doing it and you just have to find which one is best for you. Hope the videos inspires someone to try Intarsia. Beware ... Intarsia can become habit forming !!! You don't have to use expensive woods to begin with .. maybe start out using the softer woods. Thanks again for all of the kind words. Really enjoyed making this one and have to get the lead out and get a few more made. I was leary of making the Pooping Puppy because of the mechanical part but found it to be easy ....the bunny was just as easy. Having a video along with the written plans is great. Yup... sure would like to make some $$$$ off of them. If nothing else it draws people over to your booth to see what everyone else is looking at and then they notice your other work so even if you don't sell one you may sell something else. Marion

I live in a rural area and sold the Pooping Pups for $30 with no problem. Just hoping I have as much luck with the Bunny !! I am doing a local street fair the first weekend in April and since it is before Easter I am going to do several of the Bunny candy dispensers like the one in the picture that I just finished. You push on the tail and the candy drops into the basket. I made some of the Pooping Puppy candy dispensers for the fair I did in November and did very well with selling them so am hoping I do as well with the Bunnies. Thanks for looking … Marion

heppnerguy ... that is also my problem ... so proud of it until I start gluing it up and then it seems to get out of align. If you aren't cutting a perfect 90 degree cut that can cause the problem, but if the pieces match together top and bottom it would seem like I did a 90 degree cut. You can put the pieces together and cut down the line and it will correct them most of the time but I have a problem with keeping enough pressure on the pieces to keep them from slipping before I get finished with the cut. Will just keep plodding along and maybe one day I will end up with one I am truly proud of. Marion

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Really have enjoyed my venture into Intarsia but have so much more to learn. Would love to find someone in my area that does Intarsia so I could get some pointers from, but to date have not found anyone. Guess I will just keep trying until one day it clicks and I can learn to correct some of the errors I am making. All I can say is that Intarsia is very addictive !!! Thanks again ..... Marion
