  3. There is one cabinet maker I pick up from. He hasn't had much, he keeps telling me he has be slow. I will look and see if there is a coffin maker around. Thanks for the tip.

I use to get my wood free as well, since all the lumber yard around me closed, The only place I can get it now is the cabinet makes place and they are so limited on scrap, which is good for them, but not for me. LOL can anyone give out some hints on getting free scraps? I buy mine from Amazon, but that will not last long. Yes I to count my blessings as well. We have been getting plenty. We just need to feed our hobby.

  10. Kevin, What an awesome story, Wish all of us scrollers have clients like you have, we would all be so motivated into making so many things. Most of the time we only make about $1 an hour for our work. When I retire, I will have to change that. Steve

  15. Thank you Dick, I really did have a hard time with the glass, I tried glue at first and the glass kept falling out. So I made very small strips of trim and glued that all around the glass. I had to cut a big enough hole in the back to be able to get my hand in, when I was finished doing that I glued a piece of walnut over the hole. No one knew was that was for. LOL
