  1. Dick, I just about have everything figured out on this forum, Can't wait to get to know more scrollers in the world. Steve
  2. You can make rubber band planes, they are still in after so many years, or maybe even a boat. I made lots of fishing lures with my scroll saw, sure did love doing that. Steve
  3. Redwine, I noticed the other day Lowe's did stop selling it, I will have to go to Home depot and get stocked up.
  4. Steve, I like this!! You did an awesome job on that, I will have to give it a try some day. Thank you for sharing. Steve
  5. Hi Fishman, I love using the deft clear coat. Spells very bad, so make sure you have a window open. I use mine outside. By saying this, because I put my stain on outside, my dry time is very short. I do believe full dry time in my area is 2 days. We have a great deal of moister in our area. If you are in a dry area, I think a full 24 hours would be good. Hope I was able to help. Steve
  6. Hello, Love the patterns, with your up close photo shots, I can help you with a tip. I use a torch to burn off all the fuzzies. All in all nice work.
  7. I am busting!! Just stopping in to say Hi. Steve
  8. Very nice work.
  9. You could take a small brush and hand paint every little inch around your very nice work of art, and then, you are even more late for Valentines. LOL
  10. If I am not mistaken I think I got the pattern from wild tree designs. Took lots of hours Chef. I also added the stained glass in there. I wished I add more all over it, I was afraid it would make it top heavy.
  11. OMG!!! Who do I answer first!! Thank you all so very much. When working a full time job as an electrician, it took me 8 months to make this, I had so many people wanted to set it up in so many place to let everyone see it. I was so scared hauling it around. I finally sold it, My nerves could not take it. I will say this, the pattern has many error's in it, if you buy this pattern look at it real good. Or study it and you will see the error's, If you need any help with it, I can do my very best. I saw someone mention cherry. I had been thinking of doing another one out of walnut and cherry together. Thank you all so very much.
  12. I made this out of walnut and installed a light to show off the stained glass. The pattern was by Al Spencer.
  13. I use the tape so I don't burn any of my blades, they seem to last longer.
