  1. Awesome work on both Dan and very nicely framed.
  2. Been using the dremel mini drill press for years and recently purchased the updated workstation also for the same price. It's great having a second rotary tool attached with a flex shaft. Very satisfied and wouldn't do without.
  3. Excellent work Monti.
  4. The burning process used Ralph has a very nice effect. Well done.
  5. Beautiful intarsia Steve and very nicely framed.
  6. Awesome Monti. Love the Cherry a Walnut combo.
  7. The old barn and mill are fabulous Frank. Excellent cutting, staining and really love the frames. What you're doing and enquiring of I've not either had much luck finding in searching. My closest finding was of a scrolled scene with different colors of ink paper that had been added for the sky and ground. Keep on with what your doing and experimenting because your not seeing much of it if any. My preference is painting with the exotic hardwoods in marquetry (samples attached).
  8. Excellent Jay. If your able to schedule cutting a certain number then you'll have a great selection to offer for the up coming season.
  9. Nothing like enjoying what you like doing most. Your project then becomes a joy making producing satisfactory results. Which you have acomplished. Well done Monti.
  10. Great idea Dan. Thanks for the tip.
  11. Beautiful pattern Kris. It's going to look great when completed.
  12. Yes, that guy has talent, amazing talent. Thanks for sharing Dick.
  13. I have an Ex30 belt driven and is variable speed. 18 years old. A very smooth and fairly quiet operating machine. I've had direct drive as well but for some reason prefer belt driven. Everyone has their own preference and of course there're advantages and disadvantages to both. If I was to purchase a new scrollsaw it would be belt driven and variable speed.
  14. Chances are Frank your saw has sealed bearings being it's six years newer. Contact customer service at Seyco to confirm. My saw is belt driven. At the very back on the top arm on side you can see the bearing shaft. Just above to left is a screw. A hex wrench is required to remove. On the other side, same location is one more. I remove both and from the opposite side I push out the old grease using a Q tip. Screw the screw back on the other side, and with a piece of plastic rod same thickness of Q tip insert fresh grease. Takes very little to fill hole. Screw the screw back in. I do this approximately every 20 hours of use. But like I say I'm sure yours would be sealed.
  15. Very nicely done Dan. I really like the two woods you chose.
  16. Lovely done Jerry.
  17. Congrats on your first design Dave. You did a fine job cutting and finishing.
  18. Awesome Dick. That'll look great when the finish is applied.
  19. Congrats Dick. I'll be glad to pick up any wood that falls out of the trailer.
  20. Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery Ed. L
  21. I grease the bearings on my Ex30 approximately every 20 hours of use with a white lithium grease. The other pivot points I oil after each use with a light machine oil. I believe the newer saws now have sealed bearings.
  22. First time seeing cases for darts. Excellent work Todd and nice choice for designs.
  23. Fabulous intarsia Terry. My sincere condolences to you and family.
  24. Any young girl would Love this set of lovely furniture you made. By the way you've done a fabulous job. I wouldn't hesitate asking $75.00 Canadian. Show a prospective customer a second set finished with paint, and dressed with material and cushions for twice the price. I know as a customer which one I would purchase. I would stack cut each piece three at a time to keep your time down. Wish you all the best on the sales.
