  5. I had the same problem with my Desalt 788 I ended up tacking the clamp screw out and coating it with Thread anti siege and It has worked Od. The anti siege cost about $4 and it is enough to last lifetimes.
  6. I am retired and this is my hobby. I do go to craft sales to pay for this hobby. I just enjoy it.

  11. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL LIGHTED nativity SCENES BUT NEVER JUST CHRISTMAS SCENES. I HAVVE GOT AS HIGH AS $35.00 FOR SOME. YOURS LOOKS LIKE CLEAN CUTS SO YOU COULD GET $35 OR MORE DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION.

  14. These are 2 very good starts. The duck is much better than the deer/ Just remember to take your time and it really helps if you keep your saw table waxed. I work with my DeWall speed at 6 for most projects. I like a #4 blade for plywood, and if I stack cut it seems to work better. and I never use box store blades, I have no luck with them.
  15. When cutting circles I slow the machine down to a 5 or 4 speed. I have little problems at those speeds. Any way that was a nice job on by the sea,
  16. I saw the add and it sounded to good to be true. My Dad told me if it sounds too good to be true it is not true , so I forgot about it.

  18. welcome FROM OHIO I also have a DE Walt 788 . Its a good machine, Have had a little problem with vibration. but I think I have it fixed now.. No bad problem I couldn't run at high speed. which I don't use often. but look at all the patterns and send pictures.
  19. I tried it and everything worked fine. I use telephone hook up but it is faster than most phone hookups.It is zoom town thru Cincinnati bell.

  21. I have some spirals and I tried one today . I couldn't cut a straight line. then I tried to cut a circle and it looked awful. I might be able to use them with some practice. but that is not going to happen. I am 75 years old and I don't think I will ever be abele to use them in my life time.

  24. No pictures please. It did happen right at the corners. I was doing some fret work. and it wasn't pretty.
