Giving them away is a good idea but sometimes my wife won't let me and there goes that problem. I have one that I made about 15 years ago and she tells me to clean it and it's hers and that is her problem and she hasn't came up with an answer yet. IKE

I always finish my work because I cut portraits on oak plywood and it brings out the grain and they really look good. IKE

welcome again Rob. all you have to do is guide the wood and let the saw do all the work. Do not force the wood into the blade. Don't get into a big hurry. And most of all is don't buy your blades from a big BOX STORE. Buy from a catalog like the Wooden Teddy Bear. ike

Looks good . If it works for you that's all that's matters. I still use the old 2X4. I have it chained to the side of my stand, with in easy reach and I don't loose it now I use it chained. I would rather spend the $30 on wood.

I work on Christmas year around. That's not all I do . I like Fret work best and there is a lot of Christmas items like that, I give some away , sell some and have a good time making them.

This is a lighted nativity scene . the pattern Volker Arnold pattern from the Teddy Bear catalog. I stacked 3 of them and will probably sell them, unless My decides she wants one. I don't know what to charge for it what ever it is it wont be enough , but I enjoyed making it.

I make a lot things because it looks like fun. I try and sell them at craft sales. some times I keep them up for sale for a couple of years, there is always some one that would like the project, I will market it down if someone really looks like it is something they would like and I can see they think it is more than they would like to pay, but most things will sell sooner or later.. Or I give them away, but I had fun making it. IKE

I HAVE USED LEMON OIL ,I STILL HAVE A JAR OF HERE ON THE SHELVES ITS DOES ANICE JOB OF BRINGING OUT THE GRAINBUT THEN IT FADES, THEN YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT ANOTHER COAT. I NOW JUST USE A STAIN AND POLYURETHANE. LEMON OIL JUST DON'T DO THE JOB THAT I LIKE. IKE

At a price of 14.75 it will sell here in the Cincinnati area to person that likes Cats and the person that hates all cats will tell you that it is too High. Keep it the right person will come along and snatch it up as a bargain IKE.

I have an access to some undried lumber from a saw mill. I can get all kinds of lumber but I have to air dry it. How long should I let it air dry before using it I have it with air space between the boards. I have some Walnut, oak, and cherry drying for about 7 months. each piece is about 4 ft. long.

I have a 2 gal craftsman->It is fine for a small shop.-It's about what I wanted as far a shop vac's go it is a necessity IKE .
