  1. Am thinking of using some sort of airbrush or mini sprayer to spray my frettwork with teakoil, and or spar varnish. Do not know what will spray these oils. Maybe someone has some info on this?

  3. Does anyone know where i can find a breakdown, and digrahm of this saw? Also any tune up or adjustments, lubricating points and so on. Any thing would help i want to take good care of this saw.
  4. Thanks Len. Think you are probably right, they are good blades, just wondering if they have some superduper cut all anything laser guided heat seeking non breaking last forever type!!! Laughs. Did send mike an e-mail, but did not know how to send the post dirrectly from my post. Probably should have done a copy and paste? Is there and easier way to send the exact post?   5. Hi and hello to everyone out there. Hope you had a good holiday. Have been using Flying Dutchman reverse tooth blades. I suppose they are good blades, but have heard a little about precission ground blades and blades that have the teeth more accurate on both sides. Do not mind paying a little more for a blade if it cuts better and last longer. I would suppose it all boils down to the type of wood you are cutting, but what blades would you guys say are generally the best?
  6. Have found that spirals are not so bad if you keep alot of pressure on the wood to the table. Also find that thicker wood is easier to do this with. Hope this helps.
  7. Hi and happy newyear! My wife purchased a band saw for me. Have some various tree trunks i would like to cut slices out of to scrollsaw wildlife scenes. Am wondering if anyone knows how i should prepare and or preserve the wood so the bark on outside will not fall off later. I am thinking i should let them dry a little and then apply thompsons water seal before cutting. I really do like your website. It has been very helpfull. Any info would greatly appreceiated.
