This is a beautiful piece, Very well done and I'm sure your sister-in-law will be very pleased.
You did a great job.
Try food color if you need to stain another project. You can mix almost any color you want and thin it to make it lighter by adding water.
Always try the color on a piece of scrap and let it dry to get the true color. You can even seal it to make sure it's what you want.
Food color does not hide the grain and in most cases really enhances it.

There are 90 pieces required and it's 15" X 8" X 8"
