thanks all the project took about 30 to 40 hours, i lost track after awhile. I had to take it down to less than 10 minutes closer to 7 even better so ran most of it at x64. the blade is flying dutchman #4, framing equipment is Logan picture framing pro saw, i got the whole setup but they sale separately also( or they did several years ago when i got mine). the portrait is actually 20in x 30in and 22 1/2 by 32 1/2in with the frame. Frame is poplar with clear coat. Portrait is baltic birch with golden pecan stain. Birchbark your pattern was great for this and at that point dont think I could handle anymore detail lol. Also it's okay if i don't win i watch russell's show every saturday at 7pm central and just love to participate and chat with fellow woodworkers and learn extra stuff from featured guest speakers, I call saturday evening my fun time. Will let ya know how the contest turns out it ends the 31st october at midnight. contest extended till november 12th plenty of time for all to enter.
