Hi Sam re the forstner bits. Don't buy one of those cheap Chinese bits from the big box store. They don't cut very well and they are pretty soft. Buy a good make, like Bosch or other well known brand and it will last for a long while and give you a much cleaner hole. I speak from experience Sam. Hope this helps. Rob Roy.

Keith got a new computer running widows 10. Most of Keith's stuff is windows xp and of course doesn't work on windows 10. But I'm sure he'll sort it all out. Rob Roy.

Good idea Dan. I used a dowel plate,which is basically the same thing with more holes. I's made with a hardened steel plate. Cut your piece to size and hammer it through the hole in the plate. I'm sure the fire truck will turn out great. Take care Dan. Rob Roy.
