  2. Made this for a customer pine backer turned knobs and stained with ply letters sprayed black with a coat of yacht vanish to finish it off. Roly

  14. Did these today in red oak and maple stands. Made for vendors at the last show and a birthday 18th sign. Roly

The thing is you can't buy quality on Ebay they tell me what font or even to copy there business card font so I then copy the card and blow it up to cut the name plate in that font, so they have to pay for the pattern making as well. And I have people say they're cheap except of course the exception people in kilts. oh there also made in hard woods not cheap. Roly
  16. I sell all my names for £1.50 to £2 a letter depends on size and material used and the length of words and time it takes and throw in a stand , So it could be more. I sometimes end up looking at it and say give me this amount. Roly

  20. Like it DW looks great in ply reminds me of rocking horses made in ply where you see the sheet lines. Roly
  21. Dan have you thought of a broom handle saw off 1/2 inch pieces then use a saw type hole cutter and drill the hole and form the Tyre groove with the cutter if you know what I mean. I turn my own wheels on a lathe but the hole cutter way will work if you clamp the off cuts from the handle and then put a nut and bolt through the wheel hole and put the bolt in a drill to sand it and put grooves for tyres.
