    Made this for a customer pine backer turned knobs and stained with ply letters sprayed black with a coat of yacht vanish to finish it off. Roly

    Did these today in red oak and maple stands. Made for vendors at the last show and a birthday 18th sign. Roly

    The thing is you can't buy quality on Ebay they tell me what font or even to copy there business card font so I then copy the card and blow it up to cut the name plate in that font, so they have to pay for the pattern making as well. And I have people say they're cheap except of course the exception people in kilts. oh there also made in hard woods not cheap. Roly

    I sell all my names for £1.50 to £2 a letter depends on size and material used and the length of words and time it takes and throw in a stand , So it could be more. I sometimes end up looking at it and say give me this amount. Roly

    Dan have you thought of a broom handle saw off 1/2 inch pieces then use a saw type hole cutter and drill the hole and form the Tyre groove with the cutter if you know what I mean. I turn my own wheels on a lathe but the hole cutter way will work if you clamp the off cuts from the handle and then put a nut and bolt through the wheel hole and put the bolt in a drill to sand it and put grooves for tyres.
