  1. Hi from Barbara If any of you can put me in the direction of baskets. I am not sure were to start. Are they all difficult or easy. Is all cut at a angel eg the ring. the one that is top of each other. Thanks

  10. Thanks All First I will have to speak to husband for if we can get supplies another way but will have to check out All options as theft is bad as well. The wood is cheap not good plywood I am using it to try to see if I can do it. Will go and practice and cut it then use good wood. The slots and circles are not good with me so I will cut them as a learning exercise. I will come back to all of you and let you know how I did. The truth and nothing but the truth.   11. I remembered my husband has a ( I think) router I am going to try to use it as well. To cut inner circle. He he new skill as well. The wood is not a good one but I am leaning to cut and fit as well. Then get better wood. This I might just paint if it works. Just trying a new skill altogether
  12. I have a problem in our part of the world. This hobby is sadly not done that I know so I not sure if the blade is sold. I will ask. Thanks for the help and advice.
  13. This is a pattern from Steve good. This is also a skill lesson for me. I need advise. I can work out what I need to do. I need to get a guide on without to much help from machine work. Just my scroll saw and sandpaper. How t get cut as accurate as possible and neatly to. Is it just sanding work Barbara

  19. Hi From Barbara Loskoppie I am trying to finish a project and not sure how to do it best. There is stacked on each other. It is a dragon and the wings are cut separately and put on the body. Do I glue the wings on and then round them off or round the edges first then glue it together. Reason I ask which will look better. Thank you

  23. Hi from Barbara This is to share as you guys are fully to blame for getting me so addicted to this hobby. This is not complaint it is in recognition of your input. My scroll saw has a mate. My husband has got me a second had Ryobi scroll saw. From a man who has cared for it and stopped using it. It had no bits for the pinless blades. To my excitement the hardware store near us has been changing and added a more available tools and service and got me the goodies. So eager was the Ryobi guy. It is one of our best choices and today i am going to try one of your practice sheets and cut as I told hubby I had a shock when trying to use it. I jumped and turned it off as I was so sacred I had broken it but it was that I was used to a different feel with the other one. I am keeping old faithful. BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER FROM HUBBY.
